Military Force Authorization

The authorization for employing military resources in pursuit of national objectives is to be returned to the Congress. Reactions to military and paramilitary attacks are the exception to this.

  1.  Make Congress functional again by demanding better from those elected.
  2. Review the existing laws and regulations to make sure all are in line with respecting the role of Congress in the authorization of use of force when that is an optional response to a situation.
  3. Enhance diplomatic efforts and the State Department to reduce the number of possible incidents where military force will even be required.
  4. Expand and reinforce economic improvement efforts and human rights improvement programs to reduce the conditions that generate the environments where many of the non state based threats to our national security arise in.
